The gasket provides a large safety distance between the water level and the venting mechanism, so that the upper part of the air vent is sealed against any possible splashing water. Dirt and suspended particles cannot therefore enter the venting mechanism.
It can be used for high-temperature solar operation and it is ideal for solid fuel burners.

Temperature Rating max. 150°C (302°F) water (no steam)
