Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy - QMS 001/03

The goal of the DEI policy is to create a working environment which is inspired to equality and freedom protection principles and maintains the best conditions of wellbeing for all employees.

IMT ARMATUREN SRL recognizes the importance and the value of each person’s unique circumstances. For this reason  it’s committed to create an inclusive working environment where every individual is accepted and develops a sense of belonging and integration regardless of genderethnicitysexual orientationdisabilityagecultureclassreligion, political opinion or any opinion in general. This way everyone can develop a great potential without being afraid to get subject to any type of discrimination.

IMT strongly believes that such a working environment is necessary for the success of the company and of all employees too.

All IMT employees have both the responsibility and the duty to treat the colleagues with respect and follow the company policy regarding diversity, equity and inclusion during their working activity inside or outside the company.

In general, all third parties which have business relationships with IMT (customers, suppliers, other parties) are encouraged to follow the principles of this policy too.

Diversity refers to the whole bunch of differences among different people such as race, ethnic origins, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, political orientation, social extraction, disability, any further personal characteristic.

Equity is the guarantee that every individual has the same opportunities and is treated fairly regardless of any possible existing difference.

The word Inclusion means the creation of a company culture that enables everybody to feel welcomed, respected and valued and guarantees same participation opportunities and contribution.

IMT, also referring to the conventions of ILO, International Labour Organization, to the principles of UN Global Compact and to Italian law, including the law 162/2021, is committed to:

  • Promote an inclusive and respectful working environment;
  • Guarantee to everyone the same resources and development opportunities;
  • Valuing the diversity by recognizing different perspectives and experience like a means to achieve the company growth;
  • Any form of discrimination, harassment or inappropriate behaviour won’t be accepted and will be persecuted firmly and, if necessary, with disciplinary measures as foreseen by the CCNL;
  • Use an inclusive language in any form of communication, written or not, inside or outside the company;
  • Raise awareness among the employees about the issues of diversity, equity and inclusion;
  • Follow a flexible policy to balance work and personal life;
  • Make working place accessible to everybody;
  • Make stronger the company reputation as a fair and inclusive company;
  • Ensure that the personnel is selected according to objective and clear rules, based on their value and competences;
  • Guarantee that the remuneration policy is based on equity principles and on the valorization of competence, ability, skills etc.

 

IMT has established an anonymous and confidential reporting channel (whistleblowing channel on the website https://www.imt-ch.com/it/contatti) through which employees can report, possibly anonymously, inappropriate behaviours. The company implements an anti-retaliation policy that prohibits any form of retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, makes a report or participates in an investigation regarding it.
