005 - Insulation for Ball Valves in Polystyrene PS and Polyurethane
The insulations for ball valves in polystyrene PS are used for the thermal insulation up to a temperature of + 130°C (266°F) and are in accordance with the current EnEV (Energy Saving Ordinance). The insulation has very good insulating properties thanks to the use of rigid polyurethane foam.
The polystyrene shell makes the insulation stable and resistant against scratches and blows.
The insulations are fixed with clamping rings or strap retainers in steel depending on the size.
The shell is made of grey, high impact polystyrene (no PVC) with a minimum original thickness of 1 mm.
The insulation can be easily removed from the ball valve at any time for maintenance or repair purposes and then be fixed again.
