The backflow preventer 302 is designed for application of extraction valves/bibcocks with hose connection.
It is available for valves in the sizes 1/2" and 3/4".
It works according to the reduced pressure principle, where the intermediate pressure zone, separated from the other 2 through a check valve, can be vented to the atmosphere.
Its coaxial design avoids any water deflection and reduces therefore the pressure drop.
